The Endometrial Cancer Action Network for African-Americans (ECANA) is a group founded in December 2017 to create support, community and empowerment for any African-American affected by endometrial cancer. This group was established by determined patient advocates and the visionary Dr. Kemi Doll, an Associate Professor of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Washington. In this episode, we spoke with Adrienne Moore, the President of ECANA and members, Miche’al Hopkins, Margie Willis, and Shawn Smith to learn more about this dynamic organization and how they are impacting endometrial cancer.
